A fulfilling journey

After the NCO Course passing out ceremony, everyone realized they had grown and had to take on more responsibilities. Of course, we had the help from our senior officers and alumni.

While juggling our studies, our cadets also trained hard for the Annual First Aid Competition. Our efforts were not to avail as we successfully clinched the 2nd runner’s up position while competing against Zhonghua and Nanyang Girls’ Secondary. Cheers to all of our cadets!

Our year three and year two nursing cadets took part in this year’s Annual General Inspection held at Dunman High. More importantly, this will officially be our cadets’ debut in participating in a parade as the Guard of Honor.  The training and rehearsals took place over a period of 2 months. However, on the 30th August, clad in our smart uniforms and gloves on, we marched smartly and ended the Inspection with honor.

We hope that this year would bring better fortune for St. John and that our cadets will continue to uphold the motto and pledge of the Brigade – Pro-fide for the faith, Pro Utilitate Hominum, for the service of mankind.

We hope that our cadets can be successful in their future pursues and wish next year would be a better one.
