Instructional Programme
The Mathematics Department offers:
- Mathematics (all levels and streams)
- Additional Mathematics (Upper Secondary levels and streams)
- Principles of Accounts (Upper Secondary levels and streams)
The Department’s Instructional strategies include:
1. Teaching of problem-solving strategies and heuristics (e.g. Polya’s problem-solving process)
2. e-Pedagogy (e.g. inquiry learning using SLS packages and assessment for learning using tools like Quizziz and Desmos)
3. Differentiated Instruction (DI)
4. Problems in Real World Context (PRWC) to make connections to daily applications

STEM Carnival as part of the Secondary 2 STEM Learning Week, organised in collaboration with the Science Department.
